Dave Wagner

Born September 13, 1947, grew up in Minneapolis and currently resides in Apache Junction, AZ. Started performing professionally at 15. Received two best Male Lead Vocalist awards in Minnesota in the late 60’s. Inducted into MN (2005), Iowa (2009), and South Dakota (2016) Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s. Started out on Bass with a band called the Aardvarks. Started the band JOKERS WILD and moved on to lead singing. In 1967 started with the SOUTH 40 and then, in 1969, CROW. After that I sang with WHISKEY RIVER for 5 years before joining Crow again. When not with Crow, I have a small band called the JACK DANIELS BAND that I do a few dates with and also do solo gigs through out the winter months in Arizona.

Jeff (Boday) Christensen

From Red Wing, Minnesota. Born August 6,1952. Graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1970. Attended Inver Hills Jr College 1970 to 1971. Started playing professionally in 1966. Guitarist for the popular Midwest Band "Jesse Brady" that penned the Minnesota Music Awards hit song of the year "Souvenirs" in 1981. Staff Guitarist at Pilhofer Music in Minneapolis, Minnesota from 1993 to 1996. Received the Semi Finalist Award for the Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition presented by the Jimi Hendrix Family Foundation in 1996. Was inducted into the South Dakota Rock n Roll Music Hall of Fame in 2016. Has had considerable success in the Jazz/ Smooth Jazz market with the release of 4 CDs under the title of "Boday" from 1997 to 2007. His music can be heard on Music Choice, Pandora, Sirius Radio and Internet Radio daily. Currently plays with Crow and the Lisa Wenger Band based in Minneapolis, St Paul, Minnesota.

Dave (Kink) Middlemist

Born September 12th 1947 in Minneapolis, MN. Graduated from Henry High School in 1965. Attended Brown College (Institute) for Electronics & Broadcasting and also Globe Business College. Joined Jokers Wild in 1966 & met Dave Waggoner who was the keyboard player. Dave wanted to focus on vocals so I played guitar/keyboards. In 1967 I joined Dave, Dick & Larry Wiegand and Harry Nehls (from the Rave-Ons) to form South 40. South 40 released 1 LP in 1968 called “Live At Someplace Else”. In 1969 we recorded an LP and changed the name to CROW with the release. Inducted (with CROW) into the Minnesota Rock/Country Hall of Fame in 2005, The Iowa Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2009 and South Dakota Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. In the early 1990’s I also played with a 10-piece horn band called “Under Suspicion” in Minneapolis.

Larry Wiegand

Bass Guitar/vocalist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Born Dec. 5, 1947. Graduated from Richfield High School in 1965. Attended University of Minnesota and Globe Business College 1965-69. Started playing professionally in 1962. Won 2 “Connie” Awards in 1968 (Best New Band) and 1970 (Songwriting…“Evil Woman” with Crow). Nominated for 4 Minnesota Music Awards (Bass Guitar) 1981 to 1990. Inducted into the Minnesota Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2005, Iowa Rock n Roll Music Hall of Fame in 2009 and South Dakota Rock n Roll Music Hall of Fame in 2016. Has toured all over North America and Canada with Crow and Corey Stevens, Bobby Vee, The Fabulous Flippers, Pacific Gas & Electric and many more. Staff Bassist at RCA Records in Los Angeles 1974 - 1977. Black Sabbath and Tina Turner have covered his songs. Released his own “Sessions” CD in 2016. Inducted into the Minnesota Blues Society Hall of Fame in 2018. Currently plays with Crow and the Lisa Wenger Band based in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Minnesota.

Norm Steffen

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota. Started playing professionally in 1970. Toured throughout the United States and Canada from 1979 - 1984 with the country-rock band, Whiskey River. This is also where I met Dave Wagner, and have been performing with him ever since. We must like each other. I have also been drumming for Corey Stevens, a Los Angeles based blues-rock guitarist, since 2003. Recordings include 'Whiskey River’ (Whiskey River - recorded in Nashville, 1980-81), ‘One Way Ticket’ (L & S Express - recorded in Minneapolis - 1997), ‘Aint Got Time To Change’ (the Mighty Roostas - recorded in St. Paul, 2001), Myth Live (Corey Stevens - a double live CD recorded in Maplewood, MN - 2005), one track on ‘Before the Storm’ (Dave Wagner - recorded in Hudson, WI - 2007), ‘Fly’ (Buddy Kahle - recorded in Minneapolis - 2010). I was honored to be inducted into the Minnesota Rock/Country Hall of Fame in 2008 with Whiskey River, the Iowa Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame in 2009 and the South Dakota Rock Hall of Fame in 2016 with Crow.

Mark "Chico" Perez

Born and raised in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Graduated in 1966 from Coon Rapids High School. Played  drums in my early days. Opening up for South 40 and many others in the Twin City area. In 1969 I became Road manager for CROW. I was asked to play percussion on the albums. A great honor and the beginning of my percussion career. Larry Wiegand is the reason I play on stage today. Now I play with Crow, Gypsy, New Primitives, Del Counts, Lisa Wenger, Kevin Odegard, Sterling, Tommy Wiggins and many more. Inducted into the Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota and Missouri Rock and Roll Hall of Fames. Crow is responsible for me being a percussionist today. Thank you Boyz peace and love.

Mel Gilbert

Born in California and raised in Princeton, Minnesota. Her first band was called Back Pages as a vocalist. Then the Billy Road Band. Between 1991 and today she has worked with Crow as a vocalist. She also has her own band called Luna Sea and works with a group called the Bird Dogs.

Lisa Wenger

Born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1992. Lisa has performed as a beloved staple of the Minneapolis/St. Paul music scene for many years.  Her appeal is broad enough to entertain a variety of crowds, and she wins them all over, be it at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, the famous Surf Ballroom, the Bitter End in NYC, the Hard Rock in Vegas, or at BB Kings in Orlando on the blues circuit.  Lisa has shared the stage with celebrities like Jim Belushi, Robert Cray, Leon Russel, Pinetop Perkins, Delbert McClinton, as well has recorded back-up vocals for many artists, including singer/ songwriter Bruce McCabe (Jonny Lang).
Wenger’s self released albums include “Can’t Stop the Girl” (2008),“Publicly” Raw (2010), and "Simple As That" (2014).  Lisa started singing with CROW in 2016. Lisa's website is at www.lisawenger.com

Graduated in 74’ from No. St Paul High. Played with Willie & the Bee’s, Big Walter Smith, Stud Brothers, Big John Dickerson and many more.

Randy Evingson (Trombone)

From Worthington, MN he’s played with Big John Dickerson, Ipso Facto, Big Water Smith and many more.

Zoot (Sax)

From Wisconsin Rapids, WI graduated in 77’. Played with Mick Sterling, Big John Dickerson, Big Walter Smith, Scottie Miller, Davina & the Vagabonds, Woverines, Percey Strother and many more.
